So is this where I can use 75w90 amsoil gear oil to cure the rear end chatter? Instead of the dextron? Im confused

hey. i installed a vararam system on my c5 a while back, and it seems the air filter fits loose in the box.does the filter go in the top half of the box or does it sit on the bottom half where the scoops come up and then the top goes on. it just don;t seem like a tight fit.
